Biography
Hi, I’m Layney! I’m 23, married to my best friend, and call Carrollton, Mississippi home. I’ve been part of the LDA family for over six years, with four of those years spent teaching—primarily with our youngest dancers (ages 2–4), which is truly where I thrive.
I specialize in creating a positive and nurturing first dance experience, helping little ones build confidence, coordination, and a love for movement from the very beginning. I value structure in the classroom while keeping an encouraging and engaging environment where each child feels seen and supported.
Outside of the studio, I run my own creative business, which has strengthened my skills in organization, time management, and communication. Working closely with clients and the public has allowed me to bring a high level of professionalism, preparedness, and creativity into each class I teach.
Whether I’m in the studio or creating elsewhere, I thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment—and I’m passionate about pouring that same energy into helping every young dancer grow.
LDA isn’t just where I teach—it’s a place that feels like home, and I’m so grateful to be part of it.
