Biography
Madison Cook began her dance journey at the age of two in downtown Grenada. While dance wasn’t love at first sight, everything changed at age ten when she discovered a true passion for the art. She found her home at the former Harrelson Dance Studio, where she began her competitive training across all styles.
During her years of training, Madison expanded her education through conventions across the South, learning from some of the industry’s top educators. Her dedication and talent earned her a place on the All-State Dance Team for five consecutive years, as well as the opportunity to perform internationally in Australia.
After graduating, Madison quickly stepped into the world of dance education, gaining hands-on experience in both teaching and studio operations. By the age of 22, she had already begun learning what it takes to successfully lead and grow a dance studio.
In addition to studio instruction, Madison has worked with high school cheer teams, choreographing dynamic game day performances, as well as creating halftime routines for community college dance teams—bringing her passion for performance and precision to athletes beyond the studio setting.
Now with over a decade of teaching experience, Madison is currently certified in Acrobatic Arts and Progressive Ballet Technique. She is also an active member of Team Julie Kay and the Julie Kay Studio Owner Mastermind, where she continues to invest in ongoing education and professional development within the dance industry.
As the owner of Legacy Dance & Athletics, Madison is passionate about helping young dancers discover their love for movement while building confidence, discipline, and life skills that extend far beyond the studio.
