Biography
After moving to Tokyo, she trained across multiple disciplines—including ballet, jazz, contemporary, tap, singing, and acting—developing a powerful and versatile performance style. Contemporary remains her strongest voice, while her diverse training continues to influence both her movement and teaching.
She has performed internationally, with experience including Cirque du Soleil’s “KOOZA,” ESKLAN ART’S FACTORY in Rome, and Sample Dance in Las Vegas. In addition to dance, she trained in Capoeira and holds the rank of Monitor with Capoeira Brazilian Pelourinho in Las Vegas.
As an instructor, Tomo brings a balance of strength, musicality, and emotional depth into the studio. She encourages dancers to build strong technique while discovering their own authentic movement and expression.
